Who do you teach?
Everybody. There is no limit to who can learn, and our students prove it - we currently teach young children piano, teenagers who want to drum, dads who have finally managed to pick up that guitar - music is for everybody, as long as you want to learn.
What do you teach?
We offer individual and paired lessons in the guitar, electric bass guitar, piano, drums, ukulele and vocals. We also offer lessons in music technology and music theory/sight reading/aural skills, as this is an area that can be very difficult to understand. We revolutionise the teaching of music theory - it's all about making it simple, clear and engaging to students of all ages.
Where do you teach?
For instrumental lessons with Sammy, we offer lessons from our quiet home in Goring by Sea, Worthing. We have a studio room set up with guitars, basses, an electronic piano and electronic drum kit. We also have a small recording set up that can be used at any point - if you decide you want to record your playing for self reflection then this is available - Sammy isn't only a performer, he also has a background in music production and composition.
How often should I be having lessons?
We recommend that in order to get the best out of your instrument, practice outside of the lesson needs to take place. We are here to guide you and show you new techniques but in order to solidify these, practise makes perfect!.
For Children under 12 - 30 min sessions, weekly preferred. This keeps the sessions fresh and constant - exactly what children of this age require.
Over 12 - Lesson length will depend on your individual needs and preferences. We offer 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons and recommend a weekly slot if possible as consistency aids improvement!

I don't own an instrument yet.....
Choosing which instrument you want to invest time and money into can be a difficult choice, especially if you've had little or no experience with one before. Sammy has enough instruments to ensure that you're both equipped, and if you do decide to take the plunge and buy an instrument, I'll be happy to help you in making the perfect choice - we have a special affiliation with We Have Sound Guitars in Worthing, who offer discount to our students.
What happens if I can't make my lesson?
If you find that you can't make your next lesson, then we'll do our best to find a time to reschedule within that same week. If you cannot make a rescheduled lesson then the cancelled lesson will still be charged for.
