What Sammy Teaches
Sammy teaches piano, drums, guitar, bass and leads our Uke-ademy sessions.. He also offers tuition in music theory, sight reading and aural & notation. Background Sammy is a fully qualified teacher, and has taught in secondary schools and most recently a Lecturer at Northbrook College. He is fully CRB checked and has been a professional musician for the last 12 years. Location Sammy teaches via Skype. |
ANDY HARRISON

What Andy teaches:
Andy teaches the bass guitar, electric/acoustic guitar and Ukulele. These can be done on a one to one basis or in small groups. Background Andy has recently graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music with a BMus (Hons) degree in professional musicianship and has been playing at a professional level for the past 3 years. He has experience in multiple musical styles and settings ranging from large concerts to performing live on BBC radio. Location Andy teaches from his home studio in Broadwater and can travel to students, depending on their location. |
TABITHA SMITH

What Tabitha Teaches
Tabitha teaches vocals for all ages and abilities through one to one lessons. Background Tabitha is a fully qualified teacher. She has previously taught vocals and was choir leader at Northbrook College. Tabitha is fully CRB checked and has been a professional musician and songwriter for 10 years. Location Tabitha can travel to you to teach one to one vocal sessions anywhere within the Brighton and Hove area - please contact us for more details. She can also teach vocals in Goring By Sea on Tuesdays between 4pm and 6:30pm. |
SIMON BREWIN

What Simon teaches:
Simon teaches electric and acoustic guitar, beginner keyboard, bass guitar, harmonica, music theory and harmony and composition. Background Simon started learning the piano and brass instruments very young, moving to guitar at 16, studying with Steve Dodds (Mica Paris), before completing the Rock Metal and Intermediate guitar courses at the Guitar Institute in London. In his early 20’s Simon studied at Berklee College of Music, USA. Since then he has been teaching and working with a variety of bands including the jazz-funk improvisational group the ‘Kings Cross Project’, forming the band ‘Mobius’ with Otto Williams (Ray Charles, Chaka Khan, Amy Winehouse) and ‘Indigo’ which made numerous appearances on BBC Southern Counties Radio. Currently Simon composes, does session work and performs regularly with Pop Sonic and Licence to Ceilidh as well as running the Brighton Groove Project, a monthly open acid jazz and funk jam. Location Simon is based in Worthing and can travel to students depending on location. |
EMILY PARTNER

What Emily teaches:
Emily teaches vocals in a range of genres (musical theatre, pop, RnB) from beginner to advanced levels. She offers one to one lessons for all ages. Background Emily has been singing since the age of 3 and has done a variety of exams with Guildhall in musical theatre and singing (classical), passing with distinctions. She volunteered with a summer school for adults and children with disabilities, teaching them basic singing skills. Emily is CRB checked and is currently studying at Northbrook to continue her career as a fully qualified teacher. Location Emily is based in Durrington/Goring by Sea. |
